Due to financial issues, I will be suspending my EVE accounts until the issues are resolved.

Hope to see you back sometime in the future. G’night.

Some more Lv3′s

June 19th, 2010

So me and my Nightmare have been doing some more Lv3′s and I gotta say, it’s pretty easy. Only problem I found are the fast ships that get right up close and orbit, I tend to have some tracking issues with those. I use my drones for anything I can’t hit, but I haven’t gotten my skill up enough to get the Tech 2 drones, so I’ve actually had to deal with having just 4 Tech 1′s. Some ships, I wast unable to kill with my drones, and I couldn’t get away from them because I’m slow. The only thing I could think of now, that I didn’t think of before, is I could warp away, and warp back in, and see if that puts some distance between us, but then again, it’s not like they were mission critical. I mostly completed the missions without killing them. Besides, a lot of them didn’t even have bounties, so why take the time to kill them, when I could just wrap up the missions and get paid.

So anyways that’s the scoop, g’night.

Nightmare

June 18th, 2010

So I decided to skimp a little on the fittings, and loadout my Nightmare anyways. Still has a pretty awesome tank, and DPS is good too. I just don’t think I’ll be able to get enough ISK fast enough to get all the really expensive mods, so I compromised. I gave it the best tank I could afford, made it cap stable, and put in some lasers as an after though. I kid. Anyways, the thing is a beast. I rip through Lv3 missions like they’re nothing. Every mission I blasted through without breaking a sweat. The ship is truly amazing. I can’t wait to upgrade the lasers, that way I can deal more damage. But when I hit Lv4s, I’m going to have to look into busting out the case to get a proper tank, not this skimpy thing I put together which coincidentally turned out pretty decent.

Anyways, there’s lots of ISK to be made later, so for now, g’night.

Spy around here.

June 16th, 2010

So I did a couple Lv3′s today, one of which was my nemesis, the one that gave me so much trouble in the past. Well, it looks like I’ve pretty much gotten a handle on it quiet nicely. Still takes a long time to complete, but at least I got the strategy down, and I’m not taken off guard any more.

But as the title suggests, there’s a spy lurking, disguised as a member of a friendly alliance. We don’t know for sure who it is, but we have our suspicions. Basically what happened was, one of the Corp members undocked his Carrier, and almost instantly got jumped by a Titan appearing right on top of the POS. Well, the carrier was down quick, but apparently, numerous people have noticed a suspicious character hanging around, who incidentally matched the name and description other occurrences where people have been ambushed. Coincidence, I think not. Well, there’s an ongoing investigation going on in the matter, hope fully we will know for sure soon.

Skill training is still going, slow yet steady. Still a way’s away from the Nightmare, but I should at least be able to fly it in about a day and a half.

Might do a few more missions tomorrow, hopefully they wont take as long as today’s did. G’night.

Just a little.

June 15th, 2010

Did a couple of Lv3 missions. These ones were not as tough as the first one I did. I guess missiles are my greatest weakness.

In other news, the Corp finally has its own POS is a NULL sec system. I’ll go check it out as soon as I have something to do there. Right now my nightmare takes priority. Gotta get the beast together so I can do some serious mission running.

Speaking of missions, I’ll try to do a few more tomorrow, but for now, g’night.

More of nothing.

June 14th, 2010

Just idled in station all day. Learning up my skills, for now, cuz I’m not too worried about ISK. Still a ways off until the Nightmare though, both skill and ISKwise.

G’night.

Nothing today.

June 13th, 2010

Logged on and updated my planetary extractors. Then idled in station all day. Been busy with IRL stuff today, so not much time to play.

Hope tomorrow will be more eventful. G’night.

Another tough mission.

June 11th, 2010

Went back to doing Lv2 missions after yesterday’s fiasco. Woe and behold, second missions in, I get the toughest Lv2 mission I’ve ever seen. Had to take on 8 to 10 cruisers all at once. I managed to take out the easy targets, and then was forced to take them out once by one, warping in and out for repairs. Took quiet a while, but I pulled it off. Can’t wait to get my Nightmare. Hopefully I wont ever have that problem again when I do. Surprisingly even using an ECCM, I was still getting jammed by those cruisers. But not as often as when I tried it without the ECCM. I think if multiple ships jam me, it still overpowers my sensors. Oh well, at least I’m glad I was able to pull that one off. Tomorrow I’ll try another Lv3 mission, this time a bit higher quality. Hopefully I won’t lose my Omen Navy Issue.

‘Till next time, g’night.

Tough mission.

June 10th, 2010

So I did some Lv2 missions today, and I decided to try a Lv3. Well, it went okay at first, but then I got swarmed with missile cruisers, and I ended up losing my Retribution. It has served me so well in Lv1 and Lv2 missions, I naturally expected to be able to at least somewhat handle Lv3s. Oh boy was I wrong. Not only did my Retribution fail, but I fitted a Harbinger with the toughest tank I could manage to throw together, and it still failed miserably. In the end, I was forced to call on some help from a guy with a Drake. After that, it all went pretty smooth. Looks like I won’t be soloing Lv3′s for a while. I’ll probably going to wait until I can fly that Nightmare I just got. Be about a month and a half to be able to fly and fit it properly. The trick will be scavenging up the ISK to pay for the expensive fittings. The repairer alone that I’m looking at will cost me 800 million ISK, and the two Invulnerability Fields will cost about 400 million a pop, plus the two Navy Shield Boost Amps for 100 million each, that all come down to 1.8 billion ISK. That’s a lot of cash. If I was to sell PLEX, that would cost me about $95, which I am not about to do.

Oh yeah, and remember how I went out to NULL sec to join the PVP battle, only to lose my ship and my clone. Well, I was awarded a minuteman medal for going out there and taking part in the battle on a short notice. So in a way, I’m happy for the experience, and the cool medal.

Oh well, we’ll see how the whole ISK thing turns out. For now, g’night.

Got my PI all set up.

June 9th, 2010

So I woke up and quickly set up my planetary bases. I just hope that’s it’s all worth it, because I checked the market, and the price of water is just terrible, but the price of reactive metals, is pretty decent. Those are the two resources I and producing on the planets, so I hope they sell well.

Did some more Lv2′s, but I was mostly off and on all day, so no long hauls. Played around more in EFT, making sure I know exactly the ships I want to fly, and what skills I need for that. And another Allainacemate and me helped out a Corpmate with his ship fittings. He was just not fitting his destroyer well, so we gave him some pointers.

Anyways, it’s time. G’night.
